Congratulations to Auntie Dawn and Uncle Tom

You attended your first wedding this weekend. You had a lovely time. Although, you know when serial killers post videos of themselves on YouTube then go on a rampage, killing forty three people with a carving knife? Then the shit-hot lawyer manages to get a hugely reduced sentence on the grounds of diminished responsibility because, he argues, you were temporarily insane.

Well that's kind of how you were this weekend.

You were in and out of normality. Sometimes you were unrecognisable as our son. You are getting more and more curious about the world and you are developing a fierce sense of individuality, often snubbing help for things that you clearly cannot do by yourself yet. Like drive to Brighton.

So we put it down to that.

Overall you did us very proud. During the ceremony your Mummy and I played a game called. This is what the game was called: keep Noah quiet. We kind of won. With a helping hand of a galaxy ripple that Grandma was keeping just in case Tom's sugar got too low.

When we were told by the registrar to all be upstanding, you were somehow not quite pleased so, in the silence of the room, you said in your most authoritative voice, "Sit down, Mummy." That got a laugh from everyone.

It was a lovely day. Even you couldn't disagree with that.
