Sunday evening at the Harvester

Noah has been moping round the house today. He had a lovely time this morning with Grandma but once he was back home, he remembered about his toothache and spent most of the afternoon moaning. I asked him what his problem was and I explained that, should his behaviour continue in such a whiney fashion, we would have no choice but to put him up for adoption.

He saw straight through this threat. "If I annoy you both so much," he said with a smirk, "then why do you do nothing but sing Noah songs and spend ages choosing what picture of me you should put as your iPad background?" Cheryl explained that no one liked a know it all and we all carried on watching Top Gear.

Later, with empty tummies and a low collective morale, we decided to eat out for dinner. When we all sat down at the Harvester, Noah's thoughts of bad teeth were replaced with, "MUMMY! LOOK AT ALL THE FLIPPIN' BALLOONS BY THE ENTRANCE!" We couldn't shut him up about it. You can see from the following video:

We tried all through the meal to feed the boy with all kinds of different parts of our salad, chicken or chips. His teeth seemed to be the one thing stopping him from eating a great deal...until we gave him peas. He loved them. He loved laying them out, separating them, then eating one from each hand. It was fun watching him. So we filmed it, too.
